ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Principle Real Estate Consultants, a full-service real estate consulting firm with offices in Ellicott City, Maryland; Timonium, Maryland; York, Pennsylvania; and the Washington D.C. area, is proud to announce the addition of Nathan Brantley of Baltimore, Maryland as senior appraiser. This marks the fifth new senior team member addition to the firm since it began operations in March 2015.

Brantley has 17 years of valuation experience with a variety of property types including office, industrial, retail, land, and subdivisions, most of which is centered around institutional grade assets. He holds certified general appraiser licenses in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia and Pennsylvania, and holds the MAI and AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute. Brantley previously served as a senior appraiser with Valbridge Property Advisors | Lipman Frizzell & Mitchell LLC, and as a commercial review appraiser with Susquehanna Bank. As senior appraiser for Principle Real Estate Consultants, Brantley will service commercial real estate clients primarily in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. markets, and will work out of the firm’s Ellicott City, MD office.

Hlubb Jr., of Ellicott City, Maryland, as senior counselor. Paul Hlubb is the father of the firm’s founder and senior managing partner Ryan Hlubb. This most recent addition to the Principle Real Estate Consultants Firm team demonstrates the depth of knowledge being assembled by the firm, which began operations in March 2015.
“Paul has been in the appraisal profession for 44 years and has extensive knowledge of the industry. In addition to being my father, he has also been my constant advisor and mentor since I was twelve years old, which is when I first began helping him research and appraise properties,” said Ryan Hlubb. “We are excited to welcome him to our growing team and look forward to the integral contribution he will make to the firm.”
Paul Hlubb’s career has spanned the fee world and has included considerable institutional experiences, culminating as the Chief Appraiser for First Maryland Bancorp, the holding company for the First National Bank of Maryland. While there, he helped mentor and train many appraisers. Most recently, he owned Hlubb & Associates, the firm which gave his son an early start on the career path to become an appraiser himself. Currently, Paul Hlubb is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and holds the MAI and SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute (AI).
