YORK, Pa. — Principle Real Estate Consultants, a full-service real estate consulting firm with offices in York, Pennsylvania; Ellicott City, Maryland; and the Washington D.C. area, is proud to announce the addition of Paul F. Hlubb Jr., of Ellicott City, Maryland, as senior counselor. Paul Hlubb is the father of the firm’s founder and senior managing partner Ryan Hlubb. This most recent addition to the Principle Real Estate Consultants Firm team demonstrates the depth of knowledge being assembled by the firm, which began operations in March 2015.
“Paul has been in the appraisal profession for 44 years and has extensive knowledge of the industry. In addition to being my father, he has also been my constant advisor and mentor since I was twelve years old, which is when I first began helping him research and appraise properties,” said Ryan Hlubb. “We are excited to welcome him to our growing team and look forward to the integral contribution he will make to the firm.”
Paul Hlubb’s career has spanned the fee world and has included considerable institutional experiences, culminating as the Chief Appraiser for First Maryland Bancorp, the holding company for the First National Bank of Maryland. While there, he helped mentor and train many appraisers. Most recently, he owned Hlubb & Associates, the firm which gave his son an early start on the career path to become an appraiser himself. Currently, Paul Hlubb is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and holds the MAI and SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute (AI).
“It gives me great pride to come full circle with my son in a profession that I have been involved in for more than four decades,” said Paul Hlubb. “I’m proud of Ryan’s continued efforts in establishing a successful company of his own. It will be a welcomed challenge for myself to help shape the next generation of real estate professionals.”
