YORK, Pa.- Principle Real Estate Consultants, a full-service real estate consulting firm with offices in York, Pennsylvania; Ellicott City, Maryland; and the Washington D.C. area, is proud to announce the addition of Barbara Cantrell, MAI of Baltimore, Maryland as partner. This partnership announcement comes as a result of the firm’s expanding client base and positive growth throughout Maryland, Delaware, South Central Pennsylvania, D.C., and Northern Virginia.

Cantrell has over 13 years of experience valuing commercial real estate assets and previously served as director at Valbridge Property Advisors. She holds a certified general appraiser license in the State of Maryland, Delaware, Commonwealth of Virginia, and District of Columbia, and will provide valuation services as well as oversight into daily business operations of the company. In addition, Cantrell plans to expand opportunities for entry-level valuation associates to gain hands-on experience by working with the company.

Cantrell specializes in all areas of commercial real estate including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, special purpose and land. She also has significant experience in Fannie Mae and HUD MAP valuations and HUD rent comparability studies. She’s well-versed working with clients of all types including lenders, attorneys, property owners and nonprofit organizations.
Cantrell holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Maryland and currently serves as president of the Maryland Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. She is also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women group in Baltimore, Maryland.
